Imaging soaring over the beautiful San Fernando Valley, you're sitting safely in the pilot seat of a Piper Cherokee, flying the plane yourself! You will of course have your instructor guiding you every step of the way ensuring complete saftey. What an experience to tell them all back home!

While you're in the pilot's seat, a certified flight instructor will be guiding you every step of the way, from takeoff to landing. It's a memorable, exciting and fun experience. Plus, the time is FAA-logable as an actual flight lesson, if you bring a valid US passport or birth certificate. This adventure includes a pilot's logbook, "First Flight" certificate and souvenir photo.

Your hour-long experience includes pre-flight and post-flight briefings, and 30 or 60 minutes in the air. No experience necessary.

Additional information

• This tour must be booked at least 48 hours in advance of your travel date
• Confirmation for this tour will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 5 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability
• Planes flown are low-wing Piper Cherokee, which are four-seat planes. The Cherokee has a low wing, but first-time pilots will prefer this for the easy handling capabilities.
• The youngest age allowed to participate is 9 years old. Even if a child is too short to reach the pedals, the instructor will do that part.

Hotel pick ups are not available, however please specify the name of your hotel and contact telephone number during your stay in Los Angeles. The tour operator may require these details in case there are changes to tour departure times.
